About Our Company

The Olen Corporation provides sand, gravel, and limestone to businesses and homeowners in and around Ohio. What started as a simple operation has grown to seven locations supplying more than 3.5 million tons of construction materials each year. Olen is committed to providing quality products and exceptional customer service. It’s also important to us to be good stewards of the environment and respectable neighbors in our communities.

In 1985, The Olen Corporation became a member of the Kokosing group of companies, connecting us to a diverse group of companies striving for the same level of excellence in safety and quality. Together, we have the resources and the knowledge to help our customers build just about anything. Since our establishment in 1959, we have supplied materials for projects ranging from home remodeling to large construction sites to ongoing work with municipal and state governments.

Our History

1959—The Olen Corporation started in 1959 with a small sand and gravel operation on State Route 315 in Columbus, Ohio. That site is now home to beautiful Antrim Park.

1967—The business moved to a 220-acre tract of land along Big Darby Creek in Hilliard, Ohio.

1985— Kokosing Construction, one of the largest construction companies in the country, acquired The Olen Corporation.
